DOL-Fin X-20
We will be accepting manufacturing pre-orders for the DOL-Fin X-20 monofin through May 21st 2012. On May 22nd, we are scheduled to be making our parts orders. Once we order parts for your monofin, the 50% down payment placed on pre-orders will no longer be refundable. Deliveries will made upon the total payments being received and parts arriving for the final assembly of your monofin. After May 21st pre-order pricing for the X-20 monofin will no longer be accepted.
Orders placed early could ship soon after, in late May, as we have one set of Shimano SPD shoes of each size that were used during the design phase of the X-20 program to assure a proper fit between all the different shoe sizes and the X-20's exo-skelatal frame. In general, we expect most fins to be filled within 4 to 6 weeks after parts are ordered. Please see our Products page to place your order for the revolutionary X-20 monofin.
DOL-Fin Orca monofins are available on a limited basis. The initial DOL-Fin Orca monofins will be sold by serial number through reserve auction as they become available. These monofins will be available in limited quantities due to the extensive investment of time required to assemble each unit, and we here at Smith Aerospace Corp. deemed the auction process as being the most fair method of distributing these limited resources. The next units scheduled for open bidding should be completed in the late April to early May timeframe. Upon completion, the auctions will be conducted through our Smith Aerospace Corp: DOL-Fin Monofins Facebook Wall and the bidding window will be open for a period of not less than 4 weeks and upon a valid bid being accepted to close the auction. Shipping fees, taxes and duties are separate from bidding and are variable by shipping destination.
